AFM France Executed OOG Air Shipment to DWC

AFM France showcased their skills in managing a challenging out-of-gauge (OOG) air shipment to Dubai World Central (DWC) airport. The operation began with the collection of the cargo using a flatbed truck. Given the coinciding Olympic Games, this task was particularly challenging due to the need for special authorizations and adherence to strict driving restrictions. Navigating through the busy streets under these conditions required careful planning and execution.

Once collected, the cargo needed repacking to meet safety regulations and airline acceptance standards. This step was crucial to ensure that the shipment complied with all required safety protocols and was prepared for the journey to its destination.

Following the repacking process, the shipment was transported to DWC airport. The final leg of the journey involved collaboration with our local partner in the UAE, who played a key role in the cargo project.
