Leb Freight Manages Challenging Non-Stackable LCL Shipment

A recent Less than Container Load (LCL) shipment consisting of 8 non-stackable pallets of general cargo was transported from the Port of New York, USA, to the Port of Beirut, Lebanon shipped by G7N member, Leb Freight. The shipment was consolidated at a Container Freight Station (CFS) in New York before being loaded into a shared container bound for the Mediterranean region.
The non-stackable nature of the cargo significantly impacted space efficiency within the container. As a result, the reduced volume utilization led to a higher chargeable volume being applied, reflecting the common challenge faced by logistics providers when handling irregular or non-stackable freight in shared containers.
Upon arrival at the Port of Beirut, the container was promptly unloaded, and the shipment underwent customs clearance without delay. The cargo was successfully delivered to the final receiver, marking the completion of a complex international transport that highlights key considerations in LCL shipping logistics.
