MEMBER NOMINATION: Omida Sea Air Collaboration with Spherical Logistics for Agricultural Machinery Deliveries in South Africa

We are proud to spotlight a successful and ongoing collaboration between Omida Sea and Air and Spherical Logistics, focused on the reliable transport of agricultural machinery from Durban Port to Johannesburg (door delivery).

This joint effort handles a steady volume of two 40’HC containers per month, supporting the agricultural sector with timely and efficient logistics solutions. The partnership combines Omida’s international freight expertise with Spherical Logistics’ strong local network, ensuring seamless coordination from port to final destination.

One of the key challenges addressed in this project has been cost optimization. Through strategic planning, smart routing, and careful carrier selection, the teams worked together to streamline operations and reduce overall shipping costs delivering value without compromising service quality.

This collaboration highlights the power of partnership in delivering dependable, scalable logistics solutions across borders.
